ten days

hi everyone! in 10 short days, matt and i will no longer call sioux center home....a place has been a home for me a bit longer than matt (5 years vs. 4 weeks). but either way, we are both going to be experiencing some big changes in the coming weeks. because we will be pretty busy, i thought i'd update anyone who's interested this way...since matt prefers to fill his blog with twins stats and strategy. :)

life is pretty stress free right now. i go to work...matt brings me lunch...go to matt's softball games...run to the store every once in a while...not too hard. in a few weeks, that may change. we get to tackle packing and unpacking, finding our grocery store and church and everything else like that, attempting not to get lost, meeting new coworkers and friends. school and volleyball season starts a few short weeks after we arrive, and my friend sarah gets married on the 16th. we will definitely not have a boring august!

for all those we haven't told, i've accepted the jv coaching position at timothy christian high. i don't have another job to go along with that right now other than unpacking at home, but i'm excited to have my own team and have a way to get to know some other people in the school right from the start. we also have a place to live! one of the teachers at timothy couldn't sell his condo, so he's letting us rent it for the year. it's in willowbrook, which is only 10 min. south of school and very convenient. God has continually provided for us as we make this transition, and we are excited about the adventures that await us!
